Woo hoo… Hubby got me a tiller and in the rain i tilled and amended.. Added mushroom and manure compost and some peat.. Planted Big Boy, watermelon, scallions and baby lima beans so far in the left bed.. In the right bed, Heirloom tomatoes, crook neck squash and yellow squash.. Threw the basil back there too since they don’t live all winter with the other herbs..Tiny center bed, put in speckled butter beans.. (although i don’t know if they are bush or vines!)

Tried and planted wicking containers.. Drilled hole in the pvc pipe, then rocks then landscape fabric and then the same mixture that i amended with above.. Wet now with all the rain, but hopefully it won’t be too wet in the dead of summer.. Planted yellow sweet pepper and bonnie bell green, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers and lima beans in the (4) containers..

Can’t wait to see how they all do!!!!
