I have more fall planting bulbs than China has rice. I am thinking about extending my bulb bed, with no till garden , using cardboard to get rid of weeds and grass. My question ,will the bed be ready for fall bulb planting, I live in Va, zone 6.Any opinions? Thank You.

Hmmm. If you do it right now, it might be ready. I have always done mine in the fall and let it sit over the winter to be ready for spring. But that seems to be about the same length of time.
