Of course, since I wasn’t tired enough when I got home from tearing down the community garden, I decided to take advantage of the predicted warmth and rain to plant out my brassica seedlings.
Planted bok choy (essentially cabbage) for the first time in about 10 years, yet it took the cabbage moths less than 20 minutes to find them.
HUGE storm in the middle of the night; serious downpour, giant thunder, wind. I was a little worried, but the little seedlings loved it—they’re upright and bright green this morning (not that you can tell from the terrible photos). I’ll have to cloche them for the rest of the week, but they were kind of stalled in the starter cells.
Also planted out nastutium, but don’t appear to have created a planting for them.

Your nasturtiums look very similar to mine – ‘Empress/Princess of India’? :)

Bok choy was the favorite of pests in my garden last winter, so (even though I LOVE bok choy) I didn’t make a space for it in my winter garden this year.
I’m glad your seedlings enjoyed the rain! We could use some… my county is back in “moderate drought” status.
