So busy and so much going on. The garden is bursting with plants that should not even be seen for at least another month or more. I was only outside for a few minutes a couple of times today, so didn’t take my camera with me, but I really want to get out tomorrow and take some pics. The peonies are coming up, the roses are leafing out, the perennial alyssum looked like it was actually forming some buds(I will take a closer look tomorrow), echinaceas are peaking through the soil and one of my new lungworts is actually flowering.
.
The butterfly bushes are leafing out so definitely need cutting down. I plan to root the cuttings of the new one called ’Attraction" that I got last year.
.
Not many insects around when I was out but I did see my first lady bug of the season. :) and when I moved a couple of pots there were nice big worms underneath.
.
anyway if I list everything that I saw that is going on I will run out of room, so will take pics and post them tomorrow.

I can’t decide whether to be happy, jealous or afraid for you! Sounds like a lot of your plants are way ahead of mine (we got snow yesterday!) so hope that you don’t get a sudden late blast of Winter. I’m with both you and Flowerweaver: always get a thrill at spotting (no pun intended) the first ladybug of the year.
