We’ve had an incredibly dry winter here this year. Before this storm we were only at 35% of our normal precip for the year. Now that we’ve had a week’s worth of rain, I’m not sure what % we are at now. I’m not even sure how much rain we’ve been blessed with. All I know is this, there has been so much rain that my Freesia and Ranunculus blossoms are falling over from the water trapped in them! A few stems broke on my Freesia, so I cut them and brought them inside, along with a Ranunculus bloom that was water logged. The Freesia smells WONDERFUL!
I also have a water logged cat who insists on playing in the puddles on the patio rather than watching from indoors. Silly girl!
