What a difference a month makes… last time, the garden was carpeted with a blanket of fluffy white snow, and now everything is looking decidedly spring like
We’ve had salad twice, the Iris have come (and, sadly, now gone), the Hellebore that wasn’t killed in the “nephew plus weed-killer incident” is blooming merrily and I’ve started to notice the first few Bumble-Bee’s buzzing heavily around (rather less picturesquely, I’ve started squishing the first few slugs, as well!) The spring bulbs are starting to bud, and I’ve managed to get through much of my “Domestic Goddess List”
There’s a new pot of cheery spring flowers on the front step, and the Camellia is showing signs of being about to burst into bloom.
And what’s more…The sun’s just come out: Hurrah!
