We’ve been here about 7 months and I still have yet to get back to Tennessee to dig up some of our plants. We’ve yet to sell the place, and plans are in the works to get some items that we have in storage.
I still very much miss the farmette and all my birds and gardens. Until we get into a more permanent situation I’ll be digging in pots on the back porch. I’m also thinking of building a cedar box or two to get away from too many expensive clay pots and too many plastic buckets.
So here goes getting started with gardening in an entirely different climate. I think I’ll miss the long season, but I definitely won’t mind the milder weather!
