Saw the first sprouts from the carrots- but found many of them had washed out of their holes and were sprouting under the newspaper mulch. I removed the newspaper mat and replaced it with a transparent roofing panel on the East, and a thin layer of coir on the West, and hope to save these disoriented sprouts.
