Fertilized with seaweed

Friday, 17 Feb 12 Snow 3°C / 37°F

Fertilized the bottom shelf with organic seaweed liquid at half strength. Gave the plants with true leaves a good soaking. Noticed the onions are now sending out roots past the 2" block, but they seem fine. Hoping they’ll be OK until next month without needing to be repotted. Checked Elliot Coleman’s books and I am in the right timeline – having sown them 6 weeks before the earliest planting date, which is mid March here.

In other news, Betty the boy cat has found his way into my little hoop bed and walked all over my new showings of carrots, greens and radishes :(
