Nothing like a little rejoicing to get problems to surface, haha.
The Prepara Power Plant pump apparatus ceased functioning this week, accompanied by the cleverly-timed death of the accompanying grow light bulb. However, the lettuce is still alive, floating in nutrient bath and seemingly happy. The grow light has been replaced temporarily by a “daylight” bulb I found in the bathroom, and everything is sitting prettily on the plant table in the living room. I think we are still in business, except for the little fungus gnats that have decided to take up residence. I think I’ll douse it all with rubbing alcohol and see if that helps.
