I made dinner using my own tomatoes and my own spring onions. Alas not my garlic -that’s still in the ground, nor my peas, which haven’t yet even germinated, nor for that matter, my beef. But it’s nice to start reaping what I’ve sown:)
I need some cat-safe slug bait. REALLY cat-safe, not that iron phosphate or whatever it is that is sometimes marketed pet-safe but isn’t. The beer-in-a-saucer trick would be a bad idea too…kitten has to taste EVERYTHING she comes across. She’s nutty enough without being drunk on top of it all! Sand might work but I live a fair way from a beach.
It’s raining again. Soon I’ll be able to grow rice here.
