The caterpillars in my garden have met their match. I was given “Waxhead” the garden gnome who patrols the vegetable garden at night, snatches unsuspecting caterpillars and caches them until the morning when they are fed to the Lewin’s Honeyeaters, Kookaburras and Eastern Spinebills. During the day he sits quietly and stands sentry as a warning to any would be visiting butterflies and moths. Go Waxhead!
