heh, yeah, that stuff that I started from seeds and has been sitting Alllllll summer waiting for me to get around to planting? Hey, I got it in before first frost. A lot of it either isn’t in a bed, or isn’t where I intend it to end up because that bed doesn’t exist yet, but I planted it all.
Also, I’ve come to realize planting the Japanese maples on little mounds will look much nicer in the long run than just leaving them on the slope with no local change in grade. Not digging them up now though. Maybe in the spring. Maybe I’ll end up digging down beside them because I’ll have procrastinated long enough that they’re too big to uproot by then.
