Purchased a young Callicarpa bodinieri profusion. Planting created a dilemma as there was a perfect spot out the back garden … empty, shaded, protected and would contrast nicely with a purple Smoke Bush, Laurels etc OR plant out front around a large Magnolia, Viburnum davidii, barberries.
Decided that a showy winter plant needed to be out front for all to enjoy.
