Well, with my wife and one of the kids out for the day today, I had big plans for the garden. However, we’ve woken up to thunder, lightning and heavy rain.
Its a quagmire outside. The picture is taken from the kitchen window. According to my trusty new Davis weather station, So far since midnight we’ve had 12.8mm. You can checkout our weather at our new web feed on the weatherlink site at Serenity Base.
That’s not a huge amount, but at our place, anything over about 5mm and the ground becomes quickmud. Hopefully though, if the storm moves on, in a couple hours it is walkable again.
So, I guess this is a chance to go through my plantings In the greenhouse and plan what should be planted where. It’ll also be good having some soft ground to get the weeds out before the trees goes in.

Wasn’t it a loud storm? Started here around 3. I don’t know how much rain there was in it, but downtown had some flooding. Tomorrow should be a fine day for digging tree holes, yay!
I hadn’t seen the Weather Link site before, cool idea.

The thunder was very impactful. But you must have had it much worse up there. It was only yellow on the weather radar here. Looks like you guys got hit by the rich red stuff.
