This is a great papaya variety!

Wednesday, 28 Sep 11 Rainy 31°C / 88°F

I’m not big on papaya on it’s own, but my husband loves it! He wasn’t real crazy about the other variety (unknown) that I was growing, but he loves this pink lady! We use them in smoothies and I’d like to start using it as an exfoliant on my skin….to keep my youthful glow (fingers drossed).

It grows really easily. I don’t water it, fertilize it or do anything to it, but pick huge fruits. If any one would like soe of these seeds, just let me know.

These keep ripening one after another from the bottom up. We usually pick them after they start turning yellow and let them finish ripening inside on a window sill.
