It’s possible that I bit off more than I can chew by choosing perennials to grow from seed. I think it might have been wise to get more experience first. But, there you go. I jumped in with both feet.
I’m not exactly sure which lobelia planting this is from. All the first blooms died and the beginner planter was sitting there, drying out. I planted something else later and boom! One of the lobelia seeds decided to sprout. It seems to be doing okay. And, there is a little white flower today. Definitely not expected. And, it’s too bad it’s not one of the blue ones.
The passion flower is alive and growing but definitely not flourishing.
The sweet pea is very unusual. Comes up as a wee stalk then puts out leaves as it goes up.
I will have to see if I can keep these alive all winter to plant outside in the spring.
