Harvest Day! - Tomatoes, Heirloom Tomatoes, Peppers, Tomatillos, ... etc.

This harvest day fell at a perfect time; The tomatoes are all producing and pretty much everything in the garden can be represented in this posting.
In the heirloom tomato category, I have:
Lime Green Salad, Black Prince, Jaune Flamme (a new favorite), Yellow Pear, Riesentomate aus Siebenburgen (Traveler’s tomato), Amazon Chocolate (a favorite Beefsteak), and the Costoluto Genovese.
In the standards or new F1 hybrid category, I have:
Clint Eastwood’s Rowdy Red, Shady Lady, Mountain Spring, Victoria Supreme, and Sun Gold (the best orange cherry tomato ever).
The only tomatoes that weren’t ready for the harvest were the Green Zebra and the Opalka, but it will only take a few more days before they are ready.
I suppose that I should also mention the Brandywine, but it looks like it has contracted blight and may or may not ripen it’s last tomato. I haven’t been very impressed with the Brandywine this year.. it has produced two tomatoes, and neither one was very good quality.
The Broccoli had some heads ready, so I grabbed those, there were a couple of zucchini ready too.
The tomatillos continue to ripen and drop from the vines. I have three varieties and all are producing. The Verde Puebla is the earliest and the most prolific, with the Purple coming in next, and Cisineros bringing up the rear.
The sweet peppers contributed some to the harvest as well. I harvested some Gypsy, Ace, Big Early, and Socrates bell peppers.
This sounds like a lot of stuff, but there is only 2 or 3 of each, so it is a great variety, but not a large quantity.
As a subnote, we did pick the one ear of corn that the coons didn’t destroy, cut off the kernels and had about 1/4 c of fresh corn microwaved in some butter with salt. At least they didn’t get ALL of the corn!

This was so fun to photograph and log! I’m glad that you suggested the “Harvest Day” badge, as it gave me an excuse to do this. Thanks!
