My tomatillo is a complete bush. Now with new vines sticking straight up in the air emerging from the bush. Some wrap around in a full circle the entire cage, plants, and all. Some bent down, then turned at a 90 degree angle, grew along the ground, then shot back up to where I have u shaped vines. It is VERY interesting looking. I think it sees a stick in the cilantro, and is determined to take that over too. Poor Chives have an overhead cover, and I can’t find my strawberries. Haha!!

Well fortunately a lot of types of chives can still do OK with partial shade. :)
