Yes it looks great in a pot and around the base of a tree or shrub, but just be VERY firm with it. It withstands drought, flood and smothering. When it is removed it takes whatever it is growing on, be it pebbles, mulch, manure, anything, and leaves bare earth. It smothers anything low growing.

It will take root from the smallest piece or dropping from a hanging basket.
Keep potted. Tropical.
