This afternoon, I spent several hours at my favorite garden center. Result: beautiful lavender and monarda for my balcony.
I have never before seen monarda in a garden centre here in Germany. Apparently, it is an American plant. I like the colour and the exotic flowers. In the garden centre, there were several busy bumblebees on this plant, so I know that European insects are also interested :-)
