this is now the third time i’ve harvested lettuce and spinach to make a salad, but this time I got not only the romaine lettuce, but also some of the mesclun mix AND two carrots from the starts I got from Anders!

the carrots were a bit nubby and short, but that’s not too surprising considering how hard the soil they were growing in is. hard to comment on the taste as my nose was so stopped up I could hardly taste any of it, but they sure were nice and crunchy and orange! meant to take photos, but i didn’t think of it until i sat down to eat it and the carrots were already chopped up.
