What I know about grapes is very limited!! The vine is wild with lots of branches criss-crossing all over the place, and dead wood like crazy. Its also taking up too much patio space instead of growing up and over the pergola so …

Have cut out all the dead wood (made a huge difference to the look and bulk), and taking off some of the shoots that were going off in the ‘wrong’ direction.

Its looking a lot better but still has loads of criss-crossing stems. Will read up on what to do with it before I tackle it any more.
