My basil is growing great. However, I have started to notice on the leaves that there are spots. What is wrong? I noticed a black bettle this morning it crawled (no wings)… could this be effecting the basil? I also have lady bugs in my garden.

the white spots look to me like something is sucking juice out of the basil leaves. maybe u have aphids, thrips, or spider mites? check the undersides of the leaves and the stems near the leaves, with a magnifying glass to see if u have pests.
