Potato blooms and a hill of watermelons
Tuesday, 14 Jun 11 21°C / 70°F
Potato blooms are actually kind of pretty. The Desiree potatoes are in full bloom so I guess they wanted to be the garden representative for today. :-)
Jamie had some extra orangeglo watermelons. The sugarbabys I planted just aren’t germinating, so he brought his starts over to see if I wanted them. Sure! :D
We transplanted 4 plants into the hill and in the process dug up a watermelon that wasn’t breaking the surface yet. So now I have a sugar baby and 4 orangeglos. Hopefully the sugar baby will take to the newfound world out there and flourish.
