Two of the Lemon Queen sunflowers I planted have sprouted. This is going to be fun to see how fast they grow, and how successful they are in attracting bees.
These sunflowers have been planted in part to attract bees int the garden, but alsoto participate in The Great Sunflower Project. I encourage any United States or Canada gardener to participate. I can not think of a better set of people to help make this project a success.
