We’ve had some good rain and then lovely sunny weather over the last couple of days. Amaziing the difference rain water makes. Found a few white fly on the kale, I must dig out the yellow sticky paper. Thinking I should cut back on the liquid fertiliser on the beetroot as the leaves look great but the roots are still very small. I’ve never actually managed to harvest any beetroot before.
The cos lettuce looks fantastic just calling out for caeser salad. Next stop is to see if I can find any other interesting recipes. My greens are just about where I want them, being able to go out daily and pick enough for the day. Yum!

Glad you got some decent rain finally. Isn’t it amazing how the plants just look a whole lot happier after some rainfall. I bet your Caesar salad will taste terrific.
