Lettuce is proving to be a challenge. Out of the first 9 seed we started, 8 are planted out and one remains because it is tiny. Out of the second 3, 2 were planted out and one never came up. Out of the third 3, one was planted out and 2 are still too small. The lettuce was very fragile to plant out and does not look happy in the garden.

Lettuce perked up and did rather well after all. Got all of it transplanted out of the seedling garden and most of it thrived. My 3 yr old decided to help today, however, and harvested a whole square instead of a few leaves.
