Another Graft Broken By a Fat Bird

Well, probably a bird. Might have been one of the yardeners. Anyway, frustrating. I believe that is the end of all my ‘Cripps Pink’ grafts this year. Only ‘Wickson’ grafts haven’t yet broken.

It looked dried to me, but green in one place (and the leaves were just starting to unfurl on the scion), so I put it back and tried to cover it up. I really need to redo the graft with Parafilm soon.
