So, this ‘weed’ sprouted alongside one of my potted hot peppers this spring, and I was kind of enamored of its blue-green foliage, so I left it growing. The leaf shape is quite pretty. I’ve been surprised by its rapid growth – it’s nearly a foot high – and its failure to resemble any of the ‘common’ weeds in my yard. Any ideas?
Keep in mind there is a profusely flowering chili pepper in the same pot, so the little white flowers in the background all belong to it, not the unknown volunteer.

Looks kind of like sweet clover to me with the three leaflets with serrated edges.

Either that or alfalfa, if the flowers were blue-purple. If it is sweet clover, the flowers would be white or yellow
