Temperatures have been steadily above zero so I’ve moved a number of plants out permanently. Looks like one of the tomatoes and the red nemesia suffered a little in the hardening off process, but everything else is in good shape. Windy weather has been taking it out of the plants lately. And I’ve been ill so I haven’t been especially diligent about watering or basically anything but lounging around coughing. I got a little energy back today so I went out and weeded around the back patio, deadheaded primroses and violas, repotted the red pelargonium and pricked out the dahlias. I am once again almost out of pots. The lamium from which I took cuttings earlier in the year has started blooming an amethyst colour.
shopping list:
watering can with rosette
more large pots
something for the sweetpeas to use as support
slug pellets

I think I’m just still in that adjustment period for a new place. My immune system seems to be bewildered by the mildest of colds right now. Blech.
