<body>I had a pretty good harvest, I think. I got in some Lavender, Comfrey, Boneset and Plantain for making my herbal balms. Then I also cut for drying inside - Basil, Sage, Parsley, Rosemary, Stevia, Oregano for cooking. </body>

<body>I ended up not harvesting all that many. Two icecube trays and a pesto pint of basil, enough parsley to dry 2 cups and make half a pint of pesto. I left the roots in to see if they live over the winter. My chamomile from seed never got big enough, but my wild ones yielded tea all summer although not enough to preserve (that was my goal-- homegrown tea all winter, oh well). Couple of cups dried oregano. Potted the rosemary, so I'll use that fresh, didn't harvest the sage because I've still got a lot, ditto the thyme. I have a huge salad burnet still thriving, not really sure what to do with it. Completely forgot to harvest the lavender, ha ha. Don't know how to harvest rue, which I grow because it's such a beautiful plant. No fennel or dill this year.</body>

<body>In small amounts, because I am just learning, cinnamon basil, sweet basil, marjoram.

In large amounts, German Chamomile, Chives and Fennel seed. I use the fennel in my baking, and for eye relief as a tea, and the chamomile of course was used as a tea. I had a lot of chamomile between the wild stuff that grows in our driveway and the 6 or 8 plants that came up from seed. :) (Now I have about 20 seedlings coming up in the front container bed!!)

The mint, thyme, and oregano, also started from seed never got large enough to do anything with this year. Maybe next year!!
