<body>I get this problem too; I think there's a thread way earlier (nope, I'm too lazy to search for it) reporting this bug, or a previous version of this bug. Most of my plants are archived for the fall, but throughout the growing season I had to learn particular letter combinations that would cause the search terms to bring up different plantings. For instance, I had a mystery squash. I could get it by typing mystery, but not by typing squash. I think forget the various weirdness I had to go through to access my various peppers, but they sure didn't all come up when they ought to have. I think the only way I could access my green long beans was to type &quot;black seeded&quot;, because they wouldn't show up for &quot;bean&quot; and so on.</body>

<body>It always &quot;returns the first five&quot;:http://myfolia.com/groups/6-bugs-and-issues/topics/2577/posts (that's possibly the thread cmagnus refers too?) that it finds, regardless if you've already &quot;used&quot; them. To get the remaining entries you need to refine the search query to kick those ones out of the returned results. Every now and then it will seem to display some weirdness but nothing that I've ever been able to reproduce after a long rest. I assume the indexing gets out of sync, or in my case the coffee intake drops perilously low?</body>

<body>I've found that you can type key words and get the best results, similar to the way cmagnus describes mystery. You don't necessarily need to type the whole name, and sometimes it is better if you don't. For example - my AVs have numbers inside parentheses in their names to differentiate them until they bloom. So when I typed in (2) it brought up that AV and any other plants that I have designated with a similar number-naming system, no matter where in the title it is located. There are far fewer with a name like this so fewer entries. But I agree there is still a bug or two with the system - since it definitely doesn't always find every squash called squash.</body>

<body>Actually, no, there was some other thread before the first five thread... but I think it was about a previous version of the logic? No matter. It would be really nice, if it is limiting itself to display 5, if the algorithm for choosing which 5 to display were slightly more clever. My squash problem was most likely because I had several of the same plant in different gardens, so I had &quot;Sunflowers&quot; and &quot;Sunflowers (squashpatch)&quot; and &quot;nasturtiums&quot; and &quot;nasturtiums (squashpatch).&quot; It would be really great if the algorithm could prioritize the word &quot;squash&quot; over longer words containing the letters &quot;squash&quot; in choosing which 5 to display. Although maybe I just need to be more clever in my naming, now that I know the first five rule.</body>
