    <body>I'll check it out - we changed over to the new search for the journal items over the weekend, so it's likely that it's linked to this.</body>

    <body>I've just rebuilt the search index - can you give it a quick try and see if that fixes it?</body>

    <body>My journal can't find some of my plantings either - specifically the following;

Spring Cabbage - January King Extra Late
Garlic - Albigensian Wight
Garlic - Lautrec Wight
Onion sets - Red Baron
Onion sets - Sturon

As Nax says, they show up in the timeline and everywhere else, but I can't add them to my journal entry because they're not being recognised.

Thanks. </body>

    <body>Thanks Nath!

It now works for Monday's journal but not today's (well, yesterday's but I posted it today). I wonder if I check tomorrow if it will recognise my new plantings? Maybe they just need 24 hours to bed in!!</body>

    <body>I have noticed that if I write an immediate journal entry that is accessed from the menu on that new plantings page, it works just fine. But, if I try to add the new planting to a journal that is initiated elsewhere, like from its garden page, the search doesn't find it. I usually have to wait for some time, maybe at least an hour or more, and then go back and edit the journal to add it in.</body>

    <body>The search reindex should happen as soon as you save, but if for some reason the reindex doesn't kick off then theoretically it should get updated in the scheduled reindex, which is every 5 minutes ...we'll do a full audit of all the flows of saving a planting to see if we can pinpoint what's going on here. Thanks muchly for the extra bug info on this, and feel free to keep adding your experiences to this thread, it only helps tracking this down faster :)</body>
