I have had that happen before, and I also have noticed that sometimes there is a lag for the info to show up. Did you try more than once to enter the information? Also, another thing that it could be is...if you are trying to enter a plant that for some reason is not in the data base, it will not show up. But you said that the plant does show up highlighted in blue, and that when you click on it, it does not register that you selected it? As TropicanaRoses mentioned, if the plant isn't in our database yet, you'll need to click the "Add a new plant" link on the right hand side of the box.
