What's up y'all

I’ve been experimenting with hydroponics the last month or two. I like DIY projects a lot and all the systems I’ve put together so far have been pretty low budget.

Right now I’ve got two flood/drain systems (roma tomatoes, peppermint and serrano peppers) and a hempy bucket (key lime tree) on my patio and an indoor floating lettuce garden powered by a small 50W HPS grow light I made from a security light I got at Home Depot.

I started out without any testing equipment but now I’ve got a pH control kit, a TDS meter, which has helped me understand what’s going on in my reservoirs a lot better.

I’ve got a bunch of flood trays and hydroton that I recovered from a busted pot house I am trying to sell, but they’re much bigger than most hobby gardeners are interested in.

I’m eager to see what works for other people, especially for indoor gardening.
