weaving fuchsias

Has anyone in the warmer areas ever attempted weaving fuchsias? Seems like it would be a great plant to try. A Japanese tree-weaving nurseryman from California took some down with him to trial but I haven’t heard back…?

That’s an incredible way of working with plants! I’ve never seen anything like this before in all my life!!! It must have taken him several years to do that!
