This conversation has been split from Hi! Sorta new person here!

    hi all newby here,

Quick intro, I am a strong believer that every Aussie home garden should at least have a lemon tree. My background is environmental management and my main focus focus for my garden is permiculture and sustainability. Event though I am restricted on space i am gradually building my garden into a fruit forest, and removing useless ornamentals. Secret wish is to eventually have more land for more trees. current varieties are: peach, apricot, nectarine, lime, orange, lemon, rasberry, white seedless grape, red globe grape, strawberry, pepino and lilly pilly. and hopefully introducing loquat, blue berry and black berry and if i can get my hands on them red current.

hopefully chat soon and catch up of some useful tips and tricks

Great to have you on board and equally so, to see your enthusiasm for the garden and sustainability. You’re certainly not alone in your goals.

    See you around the traps…

  • A lemon tree for my bacardi, lemon and lime? Yes I agree with you there! I have a lemon tree that is only 1.5 yrs old so I may be waiting a while for it to bear fruit unfortunately.
Welcome and nice to meet you :)

Kelly, check out http://www.gardenexpress.com.au/ for your currants. I have bought from them before, and they have a great range of fruit trees and shrubs. Have had great success with all the plants I bought from them at my old place.
    Best wishes!
