<body>I think I have to give this nomination to cristina for her &quot;semi-wild horses&quot;:http://myfolia.com/plantings/92193-semiwild-horses. You have to read the journals that accompany these creatures and their companion cows, to appreciate the humorous annoyance they must be.

Horses are not my favorite creatures, but these definitely gave me a chuckle and a nostalgia nudge. When I was a child we lived in the country next to a dairy farm. Very often when you raised the bedroom shade in the morning, those big brown cow eyes would be staring back at you. It gave my aunt from the city quite a screaming start one morning. </body>

<body>I have to agree with SneIrish. I also would like to nominate cristina for her &quot;semi-wild horses&quot;:http://myfolia.com/journals/68194-an-unexpected-awakening! She also documented quite a few &quot;other bugs and critters&quot;:http://myfolia.com/journals/68922-is-anybody-in. :)

I also wanted to nominate Rurality for her journal with the red fox, but I couldn't find it. :( Maybe it wasn't her as I thought it was?

Edit: Thanks for the link, graibeard!! Rurality's &quot;red fox&quot;:http://myfolia.com/gardens/9528-pastures-fields-garden is very pretty. They are hard to get pictures of because they are so elusive!! :)</body>

I've really enjoyed reading about his bees. Plus, bees are cool.</body>

<body>Rurality has written some good wildlife journals. One that sticks in my mind is &quot;Rurality's Opossum encounter&quot;:http://myfolia.com/journals/66012-sightings - The torch fades and the Cheshire Cat Grins.
@TropicanaRoses, The Red fox is under &quot;Rurality's Pastures, Fields, garden&quot;:http://myfolia.com/gardens/9528-pastures-fields-garden</body>

<body>I would like to nominate the &lt;a href=&quot;http://myfolia.com/journals/66881-a-preying-mantis-pays-a-visit&quot;&gt;preying mantis that paid me a visit&lt;/a&gt;. He represents a HUGE success of the &quot;leave the pests and the predators will come&quot; approach to pest control, because I was having a aphid problem in that area of my garden. He also stood very still and let me take lots of pictures while he stared back at me.</body>
