<body>Hi SerenDippity - It sounds like you're doing the right thing, can you post a link to the planting that's not auto-updating? I'll take a look and see if I can find out what's going on.</body>

<body>None of my journals have ever auto updated. None. I always have to go back and add photos to the main entries. I've waited until the next day to see if it just took time, but it never happens.

Most recently I did a &quot;photo update&quot;:http://myfolia.com/journals/70449-fig-brown-turkey on my fig tree. The &quot;main entry&quot;:http://myfolia.com/plantings/35748-fig-tree-brown-turkey-ficus-carica has all five photo slots full so my most recent photo did not get added. The photos that are there I put there manually.

Also, in the journal entry is there supposed to be a photo in the section where it lists &quot; This entry is about&quot; ? There is a box to the left of the entry name with what looks like a calendar in it. The same box is on the left of all my milestones listed on my main entries. Seems like photos should be there (if there is a photo posted on that milestone journal entry at least).

And while I'm whining... photo slurper NEVER works for me. pout.

I love this site. Sorry for the whining.</body>

<body>@SerenDippity - Ahh, I think I see the problem. The auto photo update only works when you add a photo to a milestone via the &quot; What's this about&quot; section of the journal. To add a photo, click on the square with the picture frame icon in it on the left hand side - this should bring the photo chooser up, just as on the photo / garden pages. Select your photo and it will set that picture as the one for that milestone. If you've set &quot;auto-update photo&quot; for the planting or garden, then your photo will be set as the primary display photo and all other photos will be shuffled along in the gallery. Let me know if that does the trick for you :)

@XUMusketeer - can you post also a couple of the links to the plantings that aren't updating and I'll take a look into it for you - thanks!

<body>That took care of it. It gripes me that I've been using the site for a year and just now am figuring this feature out. I never noticed you had to add the photo link to the milestone. I thought it was supposed to get it from the photos added above in the journal entry itself. Now that you've explained it - it looks so obvious. I feel so stupid.

Thank you!</body>
