<body>Kelly, you are not dreaming. It used to be true, but with the upgrades in the journals, it had to go. The way I have handled this is to make a copy of the planting, put the copy into the new garden, end/archive the old one (if there is none left), and make one journal entry with both gardens and both the old plant moved and new copy transplanted (or planting out). </body>

<body>Hey Kelly - yeah, as SneIrish mentioned, some of these functions have had to temporarily disappear due to the recent change with the journals. The planting page also had a &quot;move&quot; option that used to be a shortcut to change your garden - we're also trying to figure out how to re-include this into the new navigation on this page.

Good news is we've got some enhancements to journals coming up this week, so move might be included depending on how we go. We'll keep you posted :)</body>

<body>SneIrish .... That's a nice way of moving things over! I've just been 'editing' the plant, but I like your way better :)

<body>Thanks for clearing that up guys! Makes sense, now that you mention it, I DO remember when that feature was taken out due to the change in the journaling :).</body>

<body>While we are talking about this... It would be very helpful to have a choice of reasons for &quot;source&quot; and &quot;end date&quot; or &quot;archive&quot; that reflect the copy and move that I described in my post above. Right now I have to select &quot;other&quot; as a reason. A more appropriate choice on the drop-down menu might be something like planted or moved to/from another garden. Thanks!</body>

<body>Any progress on this front? It seems like creating transplant milestones (simply adding a 'transplant' star to the timeline?) for these plants is pretty fundamental to tracking a plant. I'm doing a *lot* of transplanting around the garden, and making copies of every planting is getting quite tiresome. It would be really nice to know what had been planted where (for crop rotation purposes).</body>

<body>I just discovered that when I went in and wrote a journal about one of my plantings, that there was an option to move. So I moved it, as it is now in a pot on the deck instead of in its garden bed. So if you are moving things from one garden to another, you can do that, and it will show the garden that it was in, and the garden that it is in now. I think you could do that indefinitely, and it would show all of the places that your plant has been as well as where it is now. If you need some help, evergreen, just PM me, and I will help you with it!!</body>
