<body>And since you brought up the subject of milestones, here is one that has been puzzling me. (Not to take away from your request), there are Dying and Dying Down, but no Dead. There have been quite a few instances in which Dead would have come in handy as I was making a journal entry, and I have seen a couple of other people have the same issue over time. Dead encompasses a lot of things, whether it was a freeze, frost, disease or bug that did it, we could mark it as dead, and of course, the icon on the timeline could be a scull and cross bones in a little black circle or something like that. Maybe a RIP sign?</body>

<body>@TR - &quot;Died&quot; is an option (and milestone) under the Start/End dates. It shows up on the timeline as an open circle. 72 tomato plants all blighted into nonexistence. Yeah, I know that one. :-(

Actually, it shows up as *only* an open circle on the timeline, but it presents itself as a link (the cursor becomes a hyperlink pointer) - but there are no details like the others in the timeline - the &quot;harvesting&quot; milestone is a basket and the alt text gives details, for example. Is this a bug? Hm.</body>

<body>@PaulP - great idea on the milestones (and great thoughts on how the milestones should look like on the timeline - that part always stumps me!)

The planting end date functionality is still very basic at the moment, the idea is to start linking in the archiving into the journal page so you can journal about exactly how the planting died and &quot;archive it at the same time&quot;:http://myfolia.com/groups/2-suggestions-feedback/topics/2758/posts . When we get that happening, I'll be adding in the &quot;Died&quot; event &amp; a little icon to match. I like both the headstone and skull and crossbones ideas, I think Nax was also suggesting something very similar a while back, so it's great that you're all thinking in the same direction on this one :)

I guess the challenge for me is to make them not look too sad and depressing (especially if you have a few pop up on your timeline at the same time!)</body>
