    <body>Dear Katxena:
Thanks for the added suggestions. I would still think it would be more functional if the plant box would respond to plant types. As a new person here, I still haven't figured how to use tags. It seems all the tags I have put in don't function, as I expect in all categories.</body>

<body>I have not tried to attach any tags to my plants yet, I don't think. Only to my jounals and gardens, and I checked the garden tags. They are working. I will go and look at your tags and see what if anything I can find amiss. :)</body>

<body>@ kcmarcey- I may have found the problem. When I click on one of your tags, both of your gardens shows up under one tag. shade_shrub_fragrant_evergreen_flowers_perennial_indigenous. It is showing up as one tag because you are using the underscore function. I type mine as such: backdoor, flower. Mine show up as individual tags using this method. All of my tags are showing up, so I should think that if you did this, all tags should show up and work as they are supposed to. I will see if I can find your particular tag in the &quot;tags&quot; part of the garden page, and that will clench it for me. :)

Edit: It does not show your tag, but not because it doesn't register. The page only shows the most popular tags, which makes sense as people type all sorts of tags for their gardens. Try what I suggested. That should straighten out your issue.</body>

<body>Good ideas guys - we definitely need to add some more guidance on the search, I've added this one to the list.

@Katxena We don't yet have a global list of tags, but I could definitely create a page that shows this info. FYI I'll be trying to get some (long overdue) work on the tag system done over the winter too that should improve the way tags work around the site :)</body>

<body>@ TropicanaRoses - aw, what can I say, I try my best :)

@katxena - keep going on the tagging, none of the improvements will wipe out any of the work done on the tagging so far, it should just improve and make it faster.</body>
