<body>LOL. I could stick my head out the window to know this too, but frankly, kcmarcey, I would prefer not to do that in the dead of winter, or the heat of summer. :) I am a spring and fall girl. I go out in the summer because I love to garden and be out of doors, but I really enjoy the cooler temps of spring and fall, as well and the bright green of spring, and the fiery colors of fall.

I do like your idea of the &quot;rain gauge&quot;. It would be nice to know what the average is in my area at a given time, as well as knowing possibly (?) what the total rain amount for my area is after a good rain or snow. :)</body>

<body>Definitely! I'm currently investigating a couple of weather feeds that do include precipitation info (&quot;Weather Underground&quot;:http://www.wunderground.com/ is currently the leading contender), so hopefully we'll have more weather type features ready by the start of the next gardening season (maybe sooner, depending on how easy these weather feeds are to integrate!)</body>

<body>Weather Underground is a cool site. I use that all the time for my own information.</body>

<body>Hmm. I haven't heard of that one. I like &quot;Weather.com&quot;:http://www.weather.com/ for my daily weather reports.</body>

<body>wunderground rules. TWC can't hold a candle to wunderground's hourly predictions.

For current radar and good short and longer term predictions, however, I like the &quot;NOAA forcast discussion&quot;:http://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&amp;issuedby=CTP&amp;product=AFD&amp;format=CI&amp;version=1&amp;glossary=1&amp;highlight=off. It's a page for each region's meteorologist to &quot;discuss&quot; what they're thinking with the others. It's text-only and (after you learn a few shorthand acronyms and phrases) tells the WHOLE story instead of the &quot;reader's digest&quot; version you'll see everywhere else.</body>
