    <body>Hello to all,
I was happy to find an East Melbourne group on Folia... It will be nice to chat to others who don't think sitting in the garden by yourself with a beverage of your choice staring off into a design dreamworld of what 'can be' is so crazy.

Cheers'

<body>Amen to that!! I hate it when I start talking about what I want to do with my gardens, what I have been doing, what is growing, what died, etc, and watching the glazed expressions slowly grow upon my friends faces!! :) I do not live in Australia, but I think all serious or geeky gardeners experience this!! ;) Also, I would not mind living in Australia, the opportunity has not presented itself as of yet. My hubby is a IT contractor, and he applies for jobs all over the world. :)</body>

    <body>Well said Trop,
It's interesting when you take someone out into the garden and start to talk about germination rates etc and you can just see the processing in their brain, 'la-la-la they're just plants la-la-la' and you realise they are not as IN to it as you thought(or maybe I am just a bit TOO in to it)
But hey, you me and Mez can't be wrong and the rest of the world is nuts, right?</body>

<body>You are definitely right, nyaka. We are just doing what comes naturally. The rest of the world is just shunning their true nature!! :)</body>

<body>I'm SO excited everyone... I met one of my personal gardening goals today. My idea of a dream garden is made up off several aspects. One of them concerns being able to grow enough blooms in order to pick them freely for the house... I don't want to feel like I'm denuding my garden just to enjoy a couple of vases full of flowers inside.

Today I met that first goal: Not being able to see where flowers have been picked from :)
  &lt;does happy dance&gt;</body>
