    <body>Wow, does that ever sound like a Texan or Mexican spicy dish!  I like to make grits with cheese and garlic too, but I am not much for hot hot hot!  Hubby is, so...I will probably not show him this recipe! :)  sounds good if you like your food hot!  I like Jalepeno cornbread, but I take all of the membranes and seeds out so that all that is left is the flavor of the pepper, and not the heat.</body>

    <body>Wow, that sounds good.  I love baked polenta, but it never occurred to me before to add any spices or anything.  I'll have to try that in the future.</body>

    <body>Nothing! I love grits, verthandei! :)  Hubby does not like them very much.  He says that without stuff in it it is tasteless, that they take on the taste of whatever you put in them, so what is the point?  I like the texture and grits with butter, grits with garlic and cheese, grits casserole, or just plain grits with butter, salt and pepper served with toast to which I spoon several dollups of grits.  I love grits on toast!!  (A southern thing I think.)</body>
