I have some little dahlia plants started from seed—when do you dahlia growers start to harden them off?

I treat those ones as annual bedding plants. I normally start hardening off late April/early May with a view to planting them out Mid May – all depending on what the weather is doing of course! Ideally, they want a minimum overnight low of 50F.
