Built over summer 08 out of treated pine sleepers and bolts, concreted into the hard rock filled clay soil.
Initially covered with a 25kg bag of gypsum, 1/2 bag blood & bone then newspaper covered by 8 bales of pea straw and left to rot until August 09.
In late august 09 we shipped in 3 cubic meters of organic soil and topped up the bed.

Welcome to folia, it’s a great site. Poke around, explore the features, add your plants. Spring planting is almost here for us in the south but you’ve still got plenty of time to get familiar with the layout and a chance to utilize the main features.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need any.

That’s for sure graibeard!! I have learned soo much by asking questions here. It was a great help to find other gardeners that knew more than I did, and a lot of fun actually being able to help some others with their questions!!
@ CountryKittie- Welcome!! What kind of seed potatoes are you growing? I am going to try again next year. Mine never did grow this year. Post some pics so that we can see what you are growing! I love looking at other gardeners plants. :)
