Finally after a lot of searching, I’ve found somewhere that feels like home.
Across the street there is nothing but hills and paddocks, the only neighbours I have are sheep (who are lambing at the moment, so cute).
Out the back there is a small square patch around our washing line. The area itself is prone to weeds, it’s very rich soil brimming with worms but as you can embarrassingly see.. it needs a whole world of work.
I’ve cleared part of if out and planted some of the broccoli plants, they are going so very well. We bought them as seedlings and they have grown so much.
They were kind of sick when we first got them and they took a while to root in the soil but now as you can see from my journal, they’ve certainly done so.
The next row over there is the Silver-beet. Doing just as well as the Broccoli but they are occasionally being eaten by grubs and whatnot. I don’t mind sharing my food, the bugs aren’t doing much damage at all really.
I am very very new to gardening, these are in fact my first ever plants, aside from a cactus or two.
I can’t wait to learn as much as I can and as soon as I come back from America I will be throwing myself into the garden as it will be spring.

Oh wow, I never thought of that ^^.
I can’t wait for the warmer weather to be honest, I’m freezing as it is.. and then the weeds wont be as vicious.
