epiphany's Back garden

Garden Type: Edible | Sun: Combination | Soil: Don't Know I'm Organic!

We’ve waited two years to get the pathways & borders constructed but now it’s done & we’re finally planting it up.

The backyard is going to be 100% edible. It’s divided into a series of garden beds, as well as a bed reserved for the kids to grow veges & the utility area that contains the chicken coops, compost heaps & washing lines.

Lovely work you did there. Love the irises and the chickens. Between the coyotes, hawks, owls and bobcats, I’ve given up on fowl for awhile here in the Oklahoma badlands. Man caught a 98 lb rattlesnake up the road a few weeks ago.
I’m amazed you can have chickens with neighbors that close! It would be impossible in just about any American city or town.
thanks for sharing all this. I loved it.
